Between 22 – 25 June, Envoy were in sunny, scenic Croatia for the ECTA 35th Annual Conference. David Murray and Callum Smith were in the exhibition area to showcase Envoy‘s IP administrative services to the European market, as well as to meet with colleagues in the IP profession.
This was Envoy’s second visit to ECTA, which this year was hosted at the Lacroma Hotel in Dubrovnik. During the packed three-day programme Envoy had plenty of productive conversations about our services, particularly about how our online renewals software can help firms reduce their admin burden.
Visitors to the stand were also invited to talk to us about their business needs, and were offered the chance to be entered into a prize draw for a Nespresso Coffee Machine.
Many delegates had already heard of Envoy’s recent merger with Valipat SA, and took the opportunity to discuss our expanding range of IP administrative services. Many also visited to pick up an Envoy-branded travel adaptor – word had quickly spread that these were the ‘must-have’ item at the conference, and yet again we were cleared out!
The focussed social programme – three evening events organised by ECTA – meant that the whole 800+ delegation had the chance to network over the course of the meeting, as well as reconnect with friends and colleagues from previous events.
We greatly enjoyed our visit to the ECTA Annual Conference, and certainly hope to return to future events.
